_____

Hello! My name is Logan Foy. I'm a current Yale College sophomore from Bellingham, Washington and the Musical Director of the Yale Alley Cats, one of Yale's most renowned a cappella groups, founded in 1943.

This May, I have the special opportunity to bring the Cats to the PNW for my hometown tour! We will be in Seattle from May 10th-13th, Bellingham until the 16th, and then in Vancouver BC until the 19th. I am absolutely thrilled to show the Alley Cats around the place I call home. In order to give them the best PNW experience, there are a few things I am working to figure out. I'm wondering if any alums from Yale Seattle would be willing and wanting to help.

First, as a group that gets zero financial support from the University, we try to minimize costs of tour as much as possible. One of the most prominent ways we do this is by looking for homestay opportunities (most often with Yale alums). If there is anyone who would be interested in learning more about hosting the Alley Cats for the 10th-13th, during our time in Seattle, please let me know. We have 14 members, but are very willing to split into different homes in smaller groups. Hosting does not have to require anything but having an empty bed/couch for a few of us to sleep. We will spend most of our time out exploring the city!  Of course, we can sing a few songs for our stay :).

Secondly, we are looking for performance opportunities during our time in Seattle. We often gig for private schools, retirement homes, churches, charities, corporate offices, and private events while on tour. Some recent examples include, Yale Club of Greece, Indian Harbor Yacht Club (in Greenwich, Connecticut), Morgan Stanley, and Amazon (New Haven office). If you work for or interact with an organization that might want to hire us to perform, please reach out and I will give you more information. Here is a link to our client reel, which gives some insight into what the group offers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=vwa7zRi1ASo

Lastly, even if you don't know of any potential gig opportunities, it would still mean a lot for you to come hear us sing while we are in the Northwest! We always love to meet Yale alumni wherever we go, as you all are very inspiring and interesting people with amazing experiences and wisdom. That being said, we are having a public concert in Bellingham on May 13th, at 7pm. If you can make it up, please come! I would love to see you there.
