Seattle: Washington Park Arboretum ‘Decade in the Dirt!’

Come celebrate a Decade in the Dirt by joining our tenth Yale Day of Service work party at the Washington Park Arboretum.  Join with other Yale gardening alumni for a morning of weeding, mulching and Bulldog chatter as we spend another spring morning in one of Seattle’s most bucolic spots.

As always, our work party will be led by Arboretum staff.  Appropriate tools, some gloves (although if you have a favorite pair of your own you should bring them) and all the mulch you need will be provided.

This is an outdoor, rain or shine, event (although we have been rain free for the last 9 years) so dress accordingly.  Good shoes are a must and long-sleeves are advised sun or not.

A limited amount of parking is set aside for our group.  No special experience required.  Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.
